Alyssa Gambardella - Owner and Lip Specialist
Alyssa is a Nurse Practitioner who graduated with her master's degree from Quinnipiac University and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. As a former emergency department registered nurse, she's spent countless hours observing the benefits of IV infusions and injections with the overall well-being of her patients.
Alyssa is certified in neurotoxin and dermal filler injectables through the American Academy of Procedural Medicine. She specializes in using strategically placed dermal filler to help harmonize the face and enhance the lip.
With years of experience in emergency medicine and IV infusion services as an RN, Alyssa is excited to launch Muse Medical Aesthetics: A wellness practice that aims to improve their patient's inner and outer beauty and wellness. With extensive experience formulating and placing IVs and upwards of 5,000 IV infusions, Alyssa has mastered the art of IV infusions and injections.
A Note From the Owner: My favorite thing about this field is the ability to help people feel better about themselves and value the aging process. Aging is a privilege, and not everyone gets to experience it. We want to help people love what they see in the mirror and truly embrace and enjoy the aging process. My goal is never to "change" the way a patient looks; I only want to help them feel confident in their own skin. I love that I have been able to combine my devotion to medicine with my passion for aesthetics!
Melissa Tuohy - Injector and Laser Specialist
Melissa is a Nurse Practitioner who graduated with her master's from Quinnipiac University and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. She has ten years of nursing experience and is a former emergency department registered nurse with additional experience in critical care. She has extensive medical spa experience and is certified by the American Academy of Procedural Medicine to inject neurotoxins and dermal filler. Additionally, she is well-versed in performing laser treatments, including laser hair removal.
A Note From Melissa: I have always had a passion for skincare, makeup, and all things beauty! Being an aesthetic Nurse Practitioner combines many of the things that I love and brings me joy. I love meeting and getting to know new people. Nothing brings me greater joy than making someone feel great about themselves.
Ashley Hutchinson - Registered Aesthetic Nurse
Ashley is a registered nurse who graduated from Southern Connecticut State University. Ashley comes from an advanced background in pediatric nursing, most recently working in the pediatric ICU. Her passion for making patients feel better and providing individualized, detailed care has led her to the field of medical aesthetics. She is certified by American Academy of Procedural Medicine in dermal fillers and neurotoxins, and has spent many hours training with Muse’s owner, Alyssa.
A note from Ashley: I have always loved working in a fast paced, medically intense environment. This passion has led me to the PICU where every day involves constant changes leading to a high demand for safe, thorough and individualized care. I have also always had a passion for the beauty industry. Working in medical aesthetics has now allowed me to combine my knowledge and experience in safe, individualized care with my passion for beauty and enhancements. I find great pride in working with patients to create amazing results that meet their needs and exceed their expectations!
Beverly Wilcox - Esthetician
Beverly is a Licensed Esthetician with over 10 years of experience. She is well-versed in using pharmaceutical-grade products, providing eyelash extensions, light therapy, and body sculpting services. Having worked in various environments, she has gained extensive knowledge to ensure that every guest receives an exceptional experience.
Her holistic beliefs guide her work and lifestyle. She states, “Your skin reveals your total health. What you eat, your stress level, and your general well-being all contribute to the appearance of your skin. I love to provide personalized education for my clients about their skin and provide techniques and products that will enhance their specific skin care needs and goals. I like to use quality cosmeceutical and pharmaceutical-grade products with non-invasive technology methods while also promoting a healthy lifestyle.”
Darien Hodge - Medical Assistant
Darien is a highly qualified medical assistant and receptionist who has excellent experience working in the world of medical aesthetics.
A Note From Darien: I am a Medical Assistant with experience in a medical aesthetics office and dermatology practice. My genuine love for helping people feel their best has driven my journey in the healthcare field. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working closely with patients, providing compassionate care and support during their treatment journeys. Seeing their confidence and well-being improve brings me immense joy and fulfillment. Outside the office, I find solace in the world of books, as reading is one of my favorite hobbies. When I'm not in the medical setting or immersed in a captivating story, you can find me spending quality time with my loyal and adorable companion - my dog, Maddox. The bond we share fills my heart with warmth and companionship.
